Initial situation

The assignment for the newly appointed Chief Digital Officer, Tobias Stutz, was clear: The company was to be shaped up for the technological future and topics such as digitalization and automation. An initial as-is analysis in 2019 showed that huge investments would have to be made to achieve this, because infrastructures such as servers, networks and work equipment had reached the end of their life cycle.

With the vision “IT 2020”, ID Group is now fully committed to Office 365 and mobile workplaces. With the conversion to Office 365 including Microsoft teams from the cloud and the unlimited mobile workplace from Sunrise, ID Group has created ideal conditions for the workplace of the future. The company’s employees now work in a smart, flexible way and independently of their location. They can make uncomplicated calls with their business number from anywhere and on any device. Business data can be called up at any time and anywhere, even on a construction site. Thanks to the improved possibilities for collaboration, meetings between locations can increasingly be held online, saving travel time and costs.

"The cooperation with Sunrise and isolutions was very uncomplicated. I have been working with isolutions for a long time and therefore I have chosen them as partners. The cooperation was always target-oriented and the new services were introduced quickly".
