Vorteile der collaboration suite
Increase in efficiency
Error minimization thanks to uniform project structure
Until now, the internal information and data exchange for the teaching materials to be developed has taken place on file servers. The data exchange with the up to 100 external participants took place via e-mail. Thus, numerous different document versions were in circulation and the documents on the file server had to be compiled anew each time. This process was often cumbersome, time-consuming and error-prone, and efficient work was made more difficult. In addition, the filing structure was structured differently depending on the teaching materials, which made it even more difficult to handle documents.
At Klett and Balmer, a collaborative document management system with SharePoint was introduced. The teaching aid projects are now managed in uniformly structured work areas. Internal employees and external project members can now access the latest information and documents directly. This enables efficient collaboration. Thanks to versioning, access to older document versions is guaranteed.
"isolutions understood our needs and implemented them in such a way that the cooperation could be greatly improved."
